DAILY SNAPSHOT

  • Utilizes the nursing process to address the physiological, spiritual and psychosocial needs of assigned patient population
  • Develops nursing care plans based upon the patient assessment and revises care plans based upon change of condition and clinical finding on reassessment
  • Has the ability to make appropriate clinical decision within scope of practice
  • Documents nursing assessment, reassessment, plan of care, interventions and responses to treatment bad upon established guidelines
  • Administers medication and provides treatments and documents appropriately
  • Initiates emergency measures when indicated and serves on said teams as assigned
  • Provides education to patient and support system based upon appropriate physiological, physiological and personal preference. Education is provided at level of patient cognitive ability.
  • Documentation is legible, timed, dated and signed
  • Follows infection control policies and procedures
  • Notifies appropriate healthcare providers in a timely manner when patient status warrants

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Nursing Credentials– You are a graduate from an accredited RN program and have a current licensure. Degree in Nursing, Bachelor's preferred, with at least 1-year acute care experience preferred
  • Are Certified – You have and maintain the following certifications:

BLS

  • Are required to get certified within 3 months of hire through our education department in case you have not maintained certification in the following.

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

  • Strong Communicator - You are able to guide patients and their families as they experience treatment plans, which can be medically complex at times. You’re able to break down technical information in a way that everyone can clearly understand. You’re able to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language.
  • Empathetic Advocate – You are able to help your patients feel at ease and less alone by showing your passion for nursing. You’re able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, and co-workers.
  • Pro Collaborator – You’re able to collaborate with everyone to ensure the patient’s care needs are met in an efficient, timely manner.
