Nurse Power Services is seeking an RN Field Nursing Supervisor to support our home care nurses who provide Private Duty care for our Pediatric and young adult patients living in the South Suburban, West Suburban and South Chicago areas. This is a Contract/Part time per visit position that offers a very flexible schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for extra work in the healthcare field.

JOB DUTIES

To assure client/patient care needs are met, the nursing Field Nursing Supervisor will provide the following;

1) A visit to the client home every 60 days to review nursing care, medication records, physician orders, and plan of care.

2) Ensure timely completion of supervisory summary reports,. plan of care, and medication reconciliation. Reports can be completed remotely.

3) Provide communication to the Clinical Director of Nursing, Physicians, and nursing staff on any issues or concerns regarding patient care while in the home.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to write routine reports and correspondence and be comfortable meeting with clients, patients, and nursing staff.

Experience

Must be a Registered Nurse with at least one year of Supervisory nursing experience and 2 years of experience in home health. Prior Private Duty nursing experience helpful but not required.
