The Knolls of Oxford, a continuing care retirement community, located in Oxford, OH, is seeking a PRN RN Supervisor to work dayshift, 7am-7:30pm. One must have a valid RN license in the State of OH; and two years’ experience in a long term care facility is preferred. COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement for employment; however, if applicable, medical and religious exemption submissions can be submitted and reviewed by the COVID committee prior to job offer. Minimum PRN requirements are two shifts per month. PRN payrate is $36.00/hour.
As an RN Supervisor, your responsibilities include but are not limited to, coordination of admissions, transfer and discharge processes. Inform nursing personnel of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, etc. Consider problems with vision, hearing, mobility, etc. when communicating or working with residents. You participate in the orientation of new residents/family members to the facility, communicates with physicians appropriately and reviews the resident's chart for specific treatments, medication orders, diets, etc., as necessary. You make clinical rounds on unit and with MD as necessary.
