We are currently looking to fill openings for Robot Technician at our Dumas, Arkansas location.

SUMMARY Responsible for overall management of operational efficiency and uptime of all welding robots.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

In each of the duties listed below the employee is expected to perform to the highest standards of quality, to strive for maximum customer satisfaction, and to continually look for ways to improve the methods, practices and procedures of this position:

Trains operators in work methods and other basic operator responsibilities.

Helps solve maintenance issues including minor program changes.

Works with Maintenance to assure effective PM on equipment.

Prepare and maintain weld process sheets.

Prepare and develop weld process qualification samples.

Establishes and maintains supplies and spare parts as necessary.

Rebuilds equipment, as necessary.

Develops robotic programs as necessary for new parts or major changes to parts.

Investigates and recommends solutions for production problems in selected work cells.

Interacts with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance and others to accomplish team goals.

Participates in assuring that Quality procedures and ISO policies are fulfilled.

Provides technical support for similar work cells in other SAF-HOLLAND facilities (as required).

Provides technical support for all other automated equipment as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Minimum 2 years experience in robotic programming and troubleshooting. Additional experience in welding is preferred. Minimum two year degree in a technical field is preferred.
