We provide support service to include food and facility maintenance to our clients and their employees at remote site work camps and offshore facilities.

We hire culinary professionals and kitchen support, as well as hospitality professionals to provide guest services to keep the location safe, clean, sanitary, with a customer service attitude in their home away from home. We support every aspect of daily community life for our clients' resident workers -- 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

Summary

The safety coordinator provides technical safety and health support to operations and corporate personnel for our offshore and on land sites.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs HSE audits
  • Meet all incidents, injuries in conjunction with Safety Director on an ongoing basis
  • Liaison with customers as required and on a customer service basis
  • Assist tracking of all safety data in office
  • Ensures all required reports are completed timely
  • Trains field personnel in safety

Supervisory Responsibilities

There are no direct supervision responsibilities. May act as supervisor when on site for training and assessment.

Education and/or Experience

Preferred: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; 3 to 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Must have healthy mental capacity for long hours, days, weeks away from home.

Certificates, Registrations, Licenses

  • ServSafe or comparable food safety training preferred
  • Valid Drivers’ License/eligible record
  • CPR, First Aid
  • OSHA 132 Hour Occupational Health and Safety Professional preferred
  • Client-Required Training/Certifications

Technical Skills

Must be able to successfully navigate and utilize computer and software tools utilized by the company. Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel; Navigator, Learning Management System, Recognition Program, CMO.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds with help. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Must have physical capacity for long hours, days, week away from home in an Offshore environment.
