Safety Technician Job at ROCKLAND MANUFACTURING
Imagine being directly responsible for helping the nation grow, to BUILD. Rockland Manufacturing is a family-owned construction equipment manufacturer with an excellent reputation for quality and on-time shipments. We are looking for a Safety Technician in Bedford, PA.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist and support in development and implementation of Environmental Health and Safety Training programs.
- Conduct employee orientation and other safety-related training
- Act as a leader in driving site safety culture; including participating in/leading site safety teams and initiatives
- Perform safety audits/facility inspections
- Coordinate near miss/incident investigations
- Conduct Safety committee meetings and follow up as appropriate
- Work with Rocklanders to identify corrective actions
What you’ll need:
- A positive attitude and attention to detail
- Basic computer/MS Office skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas and solutions clearly
- Able to meet physical requirements (frequent walking, standing, various terrains, etc.)
