A day in the life of a pizza Zealot:

• Committed to interviewing, selecting new hires, training and developing pizza Zealots
• Scheduling labor efficiently to guarantee Customer for Life service
• Manage controllable and variable expenses like sauce cups, cheese packets, napkins etc
• Follows recipes to ensure not only perfect tasting pizzas, but proper food cost
• Resolve staff conflict and provide regular feedback
• Labor and food cost management
• Drive Sales by creating strong customer relationships
• P&L Management
• Inventory

Zalat Pizza is a late night, event-driven concept. Weekends, holidays and late nights are typically the busiest shifts and the expectation for Zalat Pizza Managers is to consistently work on the highest volume shifts. Managers are expected to work an equitable schedule, including closing, opening and mid shifts on a weekly basis, to allow every member of the management team to enjoy a balanced lifestyle.

Zalat Pizza is on a romantic mission to become a national multi-unit pizzeria with handmade product at mass volume. Best known for serving specialty pizzas with unique flavor combinations, Zalat has become a late-night staple across Texas.

We have three primary goals – 1 is to make perfect tasting pizzas, 2 is to make customers for life and 3 is to make our front-line pizza Zealots wealthy with stock options.
