Sales and Marketing Manager Job at Pelican New Orleans/Cajun Encounters
Skills required:
- Excellent knowledge of New Orleans attractions
- Average to excellent familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Above average communication skills and a high level of organization
- Answer all requests from groups or private parties for tours and activities in New Orleans and the surrounding areas, making all arrangements necessary and following through for successful completion of all confirmed business.
- Represent and promote all brands of PNO and affiliated companies with professionalism and enthusiasm, utilizing all modes of social media and brand marketing possible while focusing on continued awareness and growth.
- Market hotels, casinos, bed & breakfasts, RV resorts and any other receptive businesses in the Mississippi Gulf Coast areas 1-2 days per week.
- Assist with answering phone calls for Audubon Coach 2 days per week, making reservations as necessary and communicating with the Audubon Coach General Manager.
The ideal candidate will be positive, energetic, highly self-motivated and passionate about New Orleans with a desire to assist visitors in a professional manner. Reliability and punctuality are a must.
A history in sales, especially sales supervision, is preferred.
