We’re seeking highly motivated, career-driven individuals to join our team here at DataBank. As a DataBank Sales Development Representative , you’ll focus your time and efforts on inbound and outbound lead qualification, nurturing leads through the sales process and setting up qualified appointments with decision-makers. In this position, you will be assigned a cross-vertical mentor who will assist in developing your Sales Acumen, Soft Skills and Product & Solution knowledge. You will also be responsible for supporting the day-to-day of Account Managers as well as accompany them in meetings. This role gets you in at the ground-floor in the software and services space while providing you an opportunity for significant upward mobility within the company depending on availability.
Responsibilities:
Here’s what your daily adventures will include:
  • Provide lead generation support to the Sales teams
  • Work with Sales teams to identify net-new opportunities within target accounts
  • Identify champions and key stakeholders within target accounts
  • Convert qualified leads into scheduled discovery calls with Sales
  • Support DataBank’s marketing efforts by assisting in marketing campaigns
  • Manage prospecting status, data integrity, and opportunity monitoring in Salesforce
  • Contribute to strategic weekly account progress and meeting statuses
  • Collaborate with team members to share and learn from best practices
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly KPIs
Here’s what our goal is for you:
  • Set Inbound and Outbound appointments every week
  • Use the Outreach platform to execute calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, and general tasks.
  • Estimated 60-80 minutes of talk time per day
  • Meeting and exceeding pipeline goals within your first year

  • The ability to balance competing priorities and keep multiple stakeholders informed on progress
  • Ability and desire to be great at software and IT sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
You’ll excel in this role if:
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business management, or a related field (OR) 3+ years of related experience
  • You’ve had at least a (1) year of experience in a sales or account management environment
  • You don’t believe in settling, you find ways to overachieve and keep improving
  • You love connecting with people online, on the phone, and face-to-face
  • Have consistently demonstrated a high level of thoughtfulness in previous prospecting efforts
  • Familiar with all of DataBank’s products and services and able to effectively state their value
  • Looking for a long-term sales career in the technology industry
  • Understand the SDR process
  • Experience with Salesforce
