Position: Sales Development Representative - Outbound

Reports To: Director of Sales

Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site

Our mission is to be “the finest cleaning company in North Seattle and one of the top 10 franchises in EC.” Our growth focus is centered on growing the company through the acquisition of highly profitable accounts, those that are typically “small to medium” in size.

The Outbound Sales Development mission is to consistently schedule consultation meetings by ensuring that every cleanable business in our territory is contacted, marketed and messaged through our established sales strategy and as a result positioning the company to bid and secure the right businesses to achieve our ultimate goal.

Person:

The sales assistant must be professional in presentation and demeanor, a relationship builder, honest and likeable. This person will love to sell, be a self-starter, and will support and promote the company’s core value system.

Summary Position Description:

Market/promote EC’s services through the effective implementation of 1) generating prospects primarily through calling efforts, 2) securing bid appointments, and 3) assisting in the overall sales process as needed &/or directed.

Position Responsibilities

Setting Consultation Meetings

This role is primarily responsible for setting consultation meetings between qualified

Prospective clients and the Director of Sales by implementing the following strategies-

I. Prospecting – implement established strategy for generating maximum sales prospects, including but not limited to the following activities:

A. Regular, consistent touch points to serviceable facilities in the North Seattle territory, including but not limited to:

1. Calling

2. Emailing

3. Social Media Engagement

B. Build and maintain the accuracy of the company’s contact database through regular/consistent call-backs.

1. Every database contact is called back every 2-3 months.

2. Document all activity in Pipedrive to maintain notes on progress of relationship and status

3. Qualifying and disqualifying prospects in the system to maintain overall system integrity including using external programs as point of reference

C. Other general marketing strategies such as direct mail and other effective and efficient advertising campaigns.

II. Developing Relationships with Prospective Clients

A. Implement established strategy for follow-up on all viable contacts for prospective clients including but not limited to the following activities:

1. Initiate and develop relationship with business decision-makers.

2. Providing information about EC; it’s history, organization, character, management, services, experience and operational distinctives.

3. Ascertaining if and when proposals for cleaning are desired.

III. Company and Industry Knowledge

A. Maintain current and accurate knowledge of EC’s:

1. History

2. Organization

3. Clientele

4. Operational systems and procedures including: cleaning methods, policies and procedures, supplies and equipment, quality control, routing and staffing strategies, budgets/labor control, etc.

5. Support functions: recruitment, human resource practices and data, administration procedures (especially billing, receivables and aging), information systems, etc.

6. Specialty cleaning procedures and pricing for hard floor and carpet care, window cleaning, lamp replacement and landscaping.

7. Paper product resale pricing program

B. Understand and be able to effectively articulate EC’s Corporate and Company distinctives

IV. Sales Development and Expansion

A. Assist Sales Team with sales materials (brochures, letters, presentation materials, proposals, etc.) and recommend/implement or develop changes for increased effectiveness.

V. General

A. Report to Director of Sales as required through weekly meetings and reports: cold calls, call-backs, bid appointments, etc…
