THE ROLE

Maryville Consulting Group is seeking a dynamic sales leader to drive growth within our Cloud & Digital Transformation practice.

In this role, we seek a leader that can excel at both building and leading a team, while simultaneously demonstrating the skills and talents required for success. The ideal candidate should be adept at understanding a Fortune 500 client's business initiatives, identifying relevant success criteria, and aligning Maryville Consulting Groups’ unique capabilities to deliver superior outcomes. This leader is tasked with designing strategic solutions to customer challenges by bringing the combined value of Maryville’s services and experience with the capabilities of our strategic partner community.

Our ideal candidate has experience acting as a trusted advisor to large complex customers, developing and growing strategic partnerships, building and enabling enterprise sales teams, and partnering closely with delivery teams to ensure exemplary customer experience. Role success will be measured through the ability to identify and hire exceptional talent, build opportunity pipeline, efficiently close opportunities, grow Maryville’s presence in existing accounts, and positively impact the profitability of the Cloud & Digital practice.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

As an Associate Director of Sales- Cloud & Digital Transformation, you will have the following responsibilities:
  • Accountability for territory growth through business development, strategic partnerships, and team alignment.
  • Drive awareness of industry best practices and build upon an environment of continuous learning and improvement
  • Manage relationships with senior leadership within our Fortune 500 client base, with revenue target of $3M-$5M/year
  • Evaluate client problem statements to define strategic roadmaps using data, critical analysis skills, and relevant industry knowledge
  • Cultivate customer relationships and become a trusted advisor, providing prescriptive guidance in the development of people, process, and technology for our clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners to drive joint marketing, sales, and delivery pursuits
  • Bring and grow knowledge of industry-leading technology platforms
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 5+ years of solution selling, with cloud sales experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of building and leading enterprise sales teams
  • Broad business perspective including knowledge of business accounting/financials, supply chain, marketing/sales, mergers/acquisitions, etc.
  • Strong and compassionate leader with executive presence and team skills
  • Experience presenting to technical and business decision makers
  • Ability to work independently to uncover cloud opportunities within a set of existing customers
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills - thrives upon interaction with executive leadership
  • Demonstrated leadership in problem statement definition, scoping, solution proposal, and solution execution
  • Experience in effectively influencing and leading personnel and the ability to deliver results
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% domestically (post-COVID)
  • This position is available within the United States as a remote position, or within St. Louis, Minneapolis, or Boston as an office-based role.
