BEE (https://beefree.io) - a business unit of Growens - provides best-in-class tools for designing emails and landing pages and popups, online at beefree.io and embedded in hundreds of SaaS applications. The editor is used by hundreds of thousands of people every month and embedded in over 600 leading SaaS applications.

Your impact:

As the sales leader of our PLG motion, reporting directly to the Head of Sales of the business unit, you will be focused on ensuring that BEE Pro continues on its rapid growth trajectory by generating new business, promoting the expansion of existing customers, and leading collaboration around insights internally.

Your core responsibilities will be to:

  • Grow BEE Pro (https://beefree.io/bee-pro/), with a focus on expansion revenue. Sales of BEE Pro happen through a bottom-up, product-led model, today most conversions are completely self-service. Your main focus will be executing on the expansion strategy for high-potential accounts.
  • GTM alignment - Partner with our Product & Marketing teams on go-to-market - ensuring all our insights and opportunities are feeding back into our Product & Growth roadmaps, and ultimately doing whatever it takes to hit our growth goals.
  • Manage and develop our distributed sales team, which includes people in three countries.
  • You feel at home when using data to make decisions
  • Work closely with sales leadership to establish clear and actionable goals for the team, then work with the team to exceed those goals!

You will carry out these core responsibilities by:

  • Quickly becoming an expert user of our products and their features, developing a deep understanding of the reasons why they exist and how they are being used by our customers.
  • Tracking, measuring, & reviewing our current sales & customer success activities
  • Identifying opportunities for improvements, and implementing strategies to address them.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure that our sales & customer success teams have the tools & resources they need to make this happen.
  • Identifying customers that are good candidates for case studies and collaborating with the marketing team in interviewing them, when needed.

What we are looking for:

  • Hands-on leader looking to lead from the front.
  • You are highly competitive and driven to win both new business and improved processes for our customers.
  • You can take on a monstrous demand (over 15,000 signups per month!) and convert it to scalable and forecasted revenue.
  • You've been there before, you have at least 5 years of experience and you've led high-velocity sales before.*
  • You have a great story to tell about how you closed a company's biggest deal in the past.
  • You're willing to try new things, but you have the experience, analytical skills, and the awareness of metrics to quickly decide whether the new thing is trending to win or just a new thing.
  • You have worked deeply in a product-led organization and thrive in expanding current business
  • You have fantastic communication skills: you love interacting with prospects, customers & team members, in writing and in person. You've given demos, presentations, held webinars, … you name it. And you're not afraid of picking up the microphone to tell the BEE story in front of an audience.
  • You're curious: you love finding what's behind a prospect's current pain points, or how a certain customer is using our products and why. You truly do believe that selling is first of all listening.
  • You're reliable, organized, and not afraid of numbers.
  • You know how to energize your team, and help each of them grow in their craft.
  • You are passionate about what we do. Really. You get why we exist, and you care about the concept of democratizing content creation.
  • If you have not been there before (little to no management experience), but have years of documented domination in all of the above and just need a break, we want to talk to you too!

Location & travel:

  • This is a Fully-Remote U.S. based opportunity
  • We may ask you to join the rest of the Sales team for in-person sessions from time to time.
  • Some travel may be required to help at our booth when we sponsor a conference.
  • Some travel will be required for our yearly team retreat(s). Between travel and meeting time, the retreat typically requires about a week of your time. We will provide ample notice so that you can plan for it.
