ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are seeking a motivated Leader for Inside Sales Manager. The leader will be responsible for the development, support, and performance of all steel sales activities in the assigned markets as they relate to the inside sales team. They will direct the inside sales team to provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Manage the inside sales team and assist as needed
- Contribute to Training & Development for inside sales representatives
- Implement individual and team goals
- Oversee customer assignment
- Develop and implement practices and processes to minimize sales errors
- Collaborate with team to solve sales related problems
- Distribute and control prospects
- Manage existing customer relationships and drive expansion of new business relationships
- Monitor sales pipelines
- Manage budgets
- Lead positive culture
- Engage in onboarding and offboarding
- Communicate and coordinate with other departments.
- Review and assist in resolution of backorders.
- Establish specific plans and strategies to maximize the company’s market share at its existing customer base and expand the customer base in the marketing area.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Manage the inside sales team and assist as needed
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient level of computer skills in typing, number key, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Problem solving and creative thinking.
- High level computer and document-processing ability
- Above-average attention to detail
