Regional Sales Manager

You Will:

Prioritize key customers across Brazil

  • Set targets and structured follow-up of distributors and selected key accounts in the region.
  • Build customer loyalty through strong relationships across all key stakeholders and excellent customer service.
  • Assure distributor targets are met, develop and present corrective actions when required.
  • Maximize pricing and manage customer pricing contracts and quotes, implement company’s pricing guidelines.

Focus on Distributors

  • Ensure distributors are highly focused and motivated to drive CooperSurgical products and reach annual targets.
  • Diversify distributor’s portfolio by focusing on product sales of all ART Consumables.
  • Build and maintain pipeline of equipment sales.
  • Enable “One Company” approach, via distributors.

Focus on Key Accounts:

  • Maintain existing revenue and grow new business portfolio penetration in local distributors and key accounts by selling added value ART solutions.
  • Establish a program of Value-Added solutions provided for by Medical Affairs and Product Managers, that solves customer needs and problems.
  • Participate in and execute lead generating activities (sales campaigns, event marketing, workshops etc.) in Brazil, to generate high value leads and opportunities.

Sales Discipline

  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and analysis.
  • Implement sales excellence initiatives, the sales funnel, and new product roll-out.
  • Spend at least 2/3 of time in field with distributors and (key) accounts to fine-tune sales approach and ensure focus.

You Have:

  • College degree from renowned institution and/or relevant commercial/business experience.
  • Scientific qualifications/ experience (embryology, REI, ART…) is a plus.
  • The Regional Sales Manager will have a strong understanding of how to drive sales in Fertility and Genomics through distributors in Brazil.
  • Able to drive sales results by ensuring clear target setting, training of distributors and personal presence at end customers (fertility clinics).
  • The candidate is most likely a proven sales leader with experience from a commercial role in a multinational organization within healthcare/ life sciences in the Latin American region working through distributors
  • 5+ years Territory Manager/ Account Management experience · Experience with medical devices and/or Biotech is an advantage.
  • Experience from the IVF/ART industry and/or Genetics is a merit but not a prerequisite.
  • Excellent selling & closing skills.
  • Drive total revenue in Brazil and with distributors
  • Owns the customer experience, at targeted Fertility Clinics and KAs.
  • Assure the highest level of service is delivered.
