Overview:
Singer Equipment Company, one of the largest food service and equipment distributors in the US, is seeking a Sales Operations Associate Analyst. This team member will update the ERP with cost contracts and markup schedules, complete and execute company bids and quotes, perform ERP uploads, assemble | cleanse data for system use and ad-hoc reporting.

***The Sales Operations Associate Analyst is an ideal position for a current or former sales or customer service team-member that has worked in Food Service distribution, manufacturing or with a GPO looking to shift their career, gain an understanding of how systems, data and process interact, learn new programs and make an immediate impact***


Responsibilities:
  • Maintain vendor and GPO cost contracts in Epicor Prelude ERP.
  • Prepare bids and quotes using Autoquotes, Excel or Epicor Prelude ERP.
    • Assist sales teams with AQ, Excel or Prelude coding and quoting of opportunities greater than $250K
    • Execute all facets of the bid.
    • Acquire customer and bid specific discounts from vendor and adjust as required.
    • Collaborate with finance and acquire Bid and Performance Bonds and signatures
    • Complete bid forms, print and forward bids as needed.
  • Create pricing records from raw submitted data to ERP
  • Triage, communicate and follow up on requests from Sales Operations shared mailbox.
  • Troubleshoot order challenges and guide users on ERP best practices
  • Create Excel, csv or text-based documents and import into ERP or other programs.
    • Includes price files, orders, contracts, and special nets
  • Source data from ERP, Excel, Qlik and other sources and build Ad-hoc reports.
  • Maintain internal customer files and 3rd party order guides

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities:
  • Beginner to intermediate in Microsoft Excel skills, a functional understanding of Autoquotes.
  • Write and understand basic Excel based formulas including Vlookup and sumifs.
  • The capability to learn new programs including but not limited to Epicor Prelude, Qlik Sense, Conexiom, Cognito Forms, AirSlate, Power Automate, Sharepoint and SPS Commerce.
  • Functional understanding of public and private bids.
  • Write and understand basic Excel based formulas including Vlookup and sumifs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure; compute rate, ratio and percent; use whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Work in a disciplined, consistent timely and objective manner and capable of following established policies, procedures and practices.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Plan and organize own activities; analyze and organize data; manage work time efficiently; follow procedures and policies; identify and solve problems; and manage multiple priorities.
  • Report to work promptly and regularly; demonstrate the ability to consistently meet deadlines.


REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in distribution and/or food service-related business required
  • Two or more years’ experience in distribution sales or customer service required
  • Experience with Network, Supply America, or with a Group Purchasing Organization [GPO] helpful.
  • Education equivalent to a High School diploma, Bachelors degree preferred.
