POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Representative position is a combination of base pay + monthly commission + quarterly bonus, with a 1st year compensation package around $80k-90k. This role will consist of selling service/repair and consumable supplies within our industry, into Latin America. Your assigned territory will be managing a book of existing businesses. Your responsibility is to achieve the goals/objectives for your assigned territory by providing proactive consultative services, building customer rapport, setting presentation appointments, traveling in the field (minimum quarterly) and ultimately growing financially, these strategic relationships.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Initiates outbound telephone calls and campaigns to existing and prospective customers to sell services and products and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures existing and potential customers receive regular contact through daily phone calls and documents.
  • Routes customers with concerns and problems to the appropriate department.
  • Fulfills information requests for literature, etc. for customers when needed.
  • Follows up on pending quotes on projects, products, etc.
  • Meets or exceeds performance standards for quality and quantity of calls, sales objectives, etc.
  • Responds to customer inquiries within 24 hours and resolves customer inquiries with respect to pricing, delivery, basic application, basic technical questions and credit.
  • Maintains and updates customer master file.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of previous sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Quarterly travel internationally (Latin America) will be required.
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary.

  • Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; and talk, hear and see.
  • Regularly/Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
