As a Sales Manager, you will be positioned to make a significant impact at CDS through developing new business opportunities and relationships with clients, closing business, and building your and the company’s reputation in the Healthcare IT industry. This position requires a high degree of flexibility with a persistent and winning attitude.

You are responsible for

  • Attain the annual sales quota established for the defined target market
  • Identify and close CDS business within a defined territory and market
  • Establish and maintain a detailed account plan to ensure communication with all high-profile accounts
  • Develop and maintain executive and departmental relationships at target accounts within the defined territory through regular contact and travel for meetings
  • Prepare and deliver any quotes, RFP responses or technical details required by the sales process
  • Collaborate with internal business partners (Finance, Professional Services) to manage client relationship through sales agreement
  • Maintain sales forecasts, field activity, key contacts & roles, account notes and other related documentation in Salesforce.com
  • Follow established sales processes and procedures for quoting, purchasing, and contracts
  • Network and build reputation within the healthcare IT industry
  • Professional, timely and accurate communication (internal and external)
  • Spend 3 to 3.5 days per week in the field with meaningful customer appointments
  • Understand and use the company’s Sales Process, Sales Order Checklist, Pricing and contract playbooks
  • Attend Go-Lives in your territory
  • Thoroughly understand our product and service solutions ( example: Bring Vitals Plus and other solutions to applicable customers and independently demo)
  • Timely expense reporting
  • Ability to uncover and challenge customer’s existing solutions

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Bachelors Degree or equivilant work experience
  • 5+ years of sales and business development experience within a high-tech healthcare environment
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Strong HIT, Sales, Technical & Clinical experience and acumen
  • Ability to connect with people and forge strong relationships
  • Capable of working independently and within teams
  • Ability to work within deadlines, track and monitor progress
  • Strong interpersonal skills including strong communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
