Job Description:
Our Sales Support - Key Account Specialist is a critical contributor to providing our customers with quality service. Expect detailed training to achieve mastery of processes regarding our products and customer service procedures. Key Account Role:

  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with current key Airmax customers, mostly via phone and email, with some interactions face-to-face as well (which may include travel)
  • Produce and utilize key account analysis to assist in identifying and developing sales growth opportunities
  • Set priorities that will help you meet or exceed sales goals
  • Distribute information on new products, pricing, and programs
  • Work closely with Master Distributors to help the customer develop and grow
  • Review key account web presence and identify opportunities
  • Record all customer activities performed across all platforms
  • Resolve product/order issues and concerns
  • Fields incoming calls from dealers and distributors
  • Process purchase orders
  • Coordinate yearly Private Label / Early Buy programs
  • Conduct on-boarding / training program for new and existing dealers
  • Complete various administrative projects to support the overall success of the company

General Sales Support Role:

  • Assist sales team with reporting, pricing, mailings, pre-season buys and special projects
  • Handle product sales, quotes, questions, and order taking via phone and email
  • Provide pond maintenance plans and equipment layouts for consumers based on their individual needs
  • Research and determine best product solution for customers whether consumer or resale
  • Coordinate returns, warranty, and repair orders
  • Monitor automated systems and enter EDI (electronic) orders
  • Communicate with Supply Chain for order updates and send shipment notifications/invoices
  • Process international orders and prepare required customs documentation
  • Present product knowledge trainings
  • Troubleshoot and create solutions for order discrepancies
  • Arrange travel and food accommodations for customer visits and ensure training/conference location is cleaned and stocked with supplies/refreshments

Don't know about ponds? That's ok! You'll be trained to be proficient in your job. We utilize an interactive combination of hands-on and visual training to ensure everyone has a full understanding of Airmax's proactive approach to pond management.

Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you need to have a certain amount of knowledge and skills:

  • High school diploma, college degree preferred
  • One year of face-to-face sales or customer service experience in the B2B world preferred
  • Technical background is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer knowledge in Microsoft Office, knowledge in SalesForce a plus
  • Hands-on mind set with ability to work in an office environment

This position requires manual dexterity for typing, sitting at a desk and looking at a computer screen for long periods of time. In addition, portions of the training require will require shadowing of other departments that may require physical activity including lifting 25-35 pounds and standing for long periods of time.

We need a Sales Support - Key Account Specialist that is goal driven, has a positive attitude and the words "can't" and "impossible" are not a part of your vocabulary. You'll have the ability to learn quickly and retain a large amount of information and offer exceptional customer service. This person should continually add value to the organization beyond their day-to-day tasks.

Availability
You must be available to work between the hours of 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday and occasional Saturdays during the peak times.

Compensation
This is a full-time hourly position with the base pay of $21 - $27/hour based on experience. Benefits include:
