We are seeking an experienced Sales Trainer for a direct hire full-time role in Denver, CO. This is a hybrid work role – a mix of in-person and remote work.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for an engaging and energetic Sales Trainer who is passionate about supporting the success of our sales professionals. You will be a valued contributor to further developing and growing our sales teams. In this new role for SambaSafety, you will develop, create, and deliver a training curriculum for the sales organization and other stakeholders. Your overall duty is to skill-up our sellers to create more deals that close quicker and with higher amounts. This role will play a crucial role in SambaSafety’s growth and success.

What you’ll do:

  • Overseeing execution of sales skills advancement projects, including design, content curation, delivery (in-person and remote) and ongoing optimization with Sales’ Leadership input
  • Create, design, and execute a full curriculum of training programs for sales teams, both in the classroom and virtual
  • Perform the planning of the training calendar, scheduling training events, and sending training feedback surveys
  • Identifying skills gaps across each seller and sales team and working across the sales leadership team on best approach to facilitate training (small and large group) and coaching to improve new skill integration
  • Monitoring and evaluating individual sales rep training activity and results, providing feedback to reps and managers as needed
  • Dedicate time weekly to 1-1 call coaching with all reps across varying levels of sales experience and acumen, including National Enterprise AEs.
  • Prepare new employees to be successful sales agents through consistent and effective training, feedback and coaching
  • Understand organizational strategy and execute plans that deliver high performing talent
  • Partnering with sales manager to identify and prioritize rep request across learning, content, and sales processes
  • Stay up-to-date on the industry, product, market, and sales training best practices
  • Create a fun and supportive environment, encouraging communication and exchange of ideas
  • Participate in product launch team meetings, actively providing input for sales success and owning action items to work cross-functionally to bring new products to the sales team
  • Review sales rep performance to ensure upskill and knowledge integration goals are being met
  • Support activities outside of training that contribute to the overall success of the organization, i.e., support sales teams when necessary, related project work and professional development
  • Help enhance a culture of professional development and teamwork

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to communicate appropriately with all levels of management, applying both tactical and strategic thinking to new business challenges
  • Proven effectiveness in collaborating, negotiating, and interviewing business partners and subject matter experts to solicit required learning content
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Able and open to receiving and giving feedback
  • High energy

Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in a related field
  • 3-5 years of direct training experience (sales/leadership)
    • Both with direct and channel sales
  • SaaS sales experience (several years preferred)
  • Prior experience facilitating blended learning and/or flipped classrooms a plus
  • Ability to work in-person and virtually
