What is a Salon Coordinator?
- Our Salon Coordinators' primary task is to schedule appointments for all service providers, and are responsible for developing/maintaining a rapport between staff members to maximize teamwork and efficiency. Our Front Desk Team must be knowledgeable on products and services and answer guest questions and concerns with ease.
Responsibilities and Duties
- scheduling all appointments for service providers
- answering guest inquiries / concerns, including pricing, general timing for appointments, facts about service providers, and product questions
- keeping the sales floor tidy by stocking shelves and keeping shelves dusted
- maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products
Qualifications and Skills
Our salon has always been proud of maintaining consistency, all the way to our Front Desk Team -- in Aveda culture, they are known as Salon Coordinators.

- We're looking for a committed individual who will be a long-term member of our team. He/She must be detail-oriented and has a welcoming, friendly disposition. He/She must be able to stand for long periods of time, express strong communication skills, and has a professional composure. Our ideal new team member is able to handle multiple tasks with ease and prioritizes to accomplish duties in a timely fashion. He/She is organized inside AND outside of work.
