School Bus Driver Job at Bergenfield Public School District
Not to exceed 29.5 hours per week
Requires valid Class A, B or C CDL with P&S endorsement and up-to-date CDL Physical
· A school bus driver will maintain and promote a professional and defensive driving attitude at all times.
· A school bus driver will drive regular routes, activity trips, and substitute as assigned.
· A school bus driver will perform a daily pre-trip inspection, assuring that all equipment, including safety devices are in a safe and proper operating order.
· A school bus driver will keep daily records of mileage, number of student passengers and vehicle pre-trip inspections.
· A school bus driver will operate school transportation vehicles in compliance with all laws, rules and regulations set forth by district, state and federal agencies.
- A school bus driver will maintain proper student discipline per Board policy, as required to transport all passengers safely.
- A school bus driver will clean interior and maintain equipment in a safe operating condition and to report all defects as soon as possible.
