School Psychologist- In Person, or Remote Job at Metro EHS Pediatric Therapy
MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy is urgently seeking several qualified School Psychologists with one of our contracted school partner districts in Wayne County. The ideal employee for this position will have a combination of required skills and qualifications including a desire to make a difference in the lives of young students. This employee will work directly for MetroEHS and will be fully supported by our top-tier clinical support teams.
There is flexibility within this position for either part-time or full-time employment, with a full-time employee working a maximum of 7 hours per day. There is also variety regarding school locations, as this employee will consistently report to 2-3 different schools within the district. This employee will be responsible for providing a combination of assessments, IEPT meetings, and other direct services, all with professionalism and care. Candidates who are bilingual (Spanish) or are trained in ASL are highly desired, as there may be families and students that do not speak English as their primary language.
- Master’s degree from an accredited school psychology-training program.
- Valid Permanent State of Michigan School Psychologist Certification or provisional State of Michigan School Psychologist Certification.
- The provisional School Psychologist must obtain a permanent State of Michigan School Psychologist Certification within 16 months of employment with the district.
- Current certification as a School Psychologist.
- Limited Licensed Considered, Fully Licensed Psychologist Preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years post master’s degree experience working with school-aged children and families preferred
