MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy is currently seeking a School Social Worker to join our team of therapists that REVEAL THE SUPER IN EVERY CHILD! We need an experienced SSW to step into a full-time school position. (We also have positions available in our clinics nearby.)

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved program in Social Work, culminating in the receipt of a Master's or Doctoral Degree
• Posess a valid state license in Social Work as required by the State in which services are rendered
• School credentials

Social work practice consists of the professional application of social work values, principles, and techniques to one or more of the following ends: helping people obtain tangible services; counseling and psychotherapy with individuals, families, and groups; helping communities or groups provide or improve social and health services; and participating in legislative processes. The practice of social work requires knowledge of human development and behavior; of social and economic, and cultural institutions; and of the interaction of all of these factors. Social workers within the school setting are expected to meet with individuals requiring services on a regular basis/acording to the IEP.
