Reporting to the North America Director of Health, Safety and Environmental with daily reporting to Facility Leader (Matrix organization), the HSE Site Manager leads corporate and regulatory health, safety and environmental initiatives and processes at assigned location to reduce employee injury, drive a Zero & Beyond Culture, and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance. This position is a member of the Site Leadership Team and works closely with Corporate QHSE, various other corporate functions, as well as external agencies and resources.
Required:
Candidate with Prior work experience
  • Prior experience with HSE as primary function/responsibility (1910/1904 Regulations).
  • Proven success of facilitating employees driving safety culture from the floor up.
  • Proven success of influencing Leaders and driving accountability with all employee levels of Site or Organization.
  • Leadership style – Servant Leadership: Encourages Diversity of Thought; Creates a Culture of Trust; Unselfish Mindset; Fosters Leadership in Others
Candidate – Recent College Graduate (in place of work experience)
  • BS degree in Safety (1910/1904 regulations).
  • Experience with Leadership roles in college – college clubs; organizations; Internships or Co-Ops.
  • Proven examples of influencing Leaders and driving accountability with all member levels of Clubs or organizations
  • Leadership style – Servant Leadership: Encourages Diversity of Thought; Creates a Culture of Trust; Unselfish Mindset; Fosters Leadership in Others

Preferred:

  • Experience with Environmental permit compliance and waste management.
  • Experience with ISO Management Systems (ISO14001:2015 & 45001:2018).

  • Experience with workers’ compensation regulations.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment.
Candidate – Recent College Graduate (in place of work experience)
  • Knowledge of Environmental permit compliance.
  • Knowledge of ISO Management Systems (ISO14001:2015 & 45001:2018).
  • Experience with Strategy deployment – college club; group; prior job.
  • Knowledge of worker’s compensation regulations.
