This is a hybrid role working partially in-office and partially from home.

This position manages actuarial services and leads support in the building, maintaining, and measuring of insurance products. The incumbent is responsible for providing actionable information that enables good business decisions along with designing, managing, and leading project initiatives and business processes within the job area.

What you do

  • Builds and cultivates internal and external relationships to promote and grow the business.
  • Manages risk and ensures the appropriate level of profitability.
  • Accountable for business plans while focusing on results and measurements which may include negotiating, contract signing, and other duties as an officer of the company.
  • Directs and influences associate and business resources to achieve business results.
  • Collaborates to create a strategic vision around the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Monitors the external markets to ensure industry best practices.
  • Acts as an enterprise contributor by partnering with leaders throughout the organization on cross-division initiatives.
  • Provide oversight for the Actuarial department and various actuarial functions.
  • Actively engages in major projects and other division and enterprise initiatives.
  • Responsible for development, training, and succession planning for team members.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Related Field required
  • 7-10 years Related Experience required And
  • 4-7 years Supervisory Experience required
  • Attainment of Fellow of Society of Actuaries and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
