Provides security to the facility, employees, equipment, supplies and drugs. Control traffic around, inside and outside of the
facility with the general welfare and safety of Residents and employees being the primary goal.
Responsibilities:

- Promotes safe practices and reports any conditions which may affect the health and safety
of all workers. - Makes regular tours of the facility and parking lots in order to detect safety and fire hazards,
conditions that may breed theft and suspicious looking persons. - Locks and unlocks doors as required.
- Assists in conducting fire drills and responds in actual emergencies.
- Assists with unruly Residents.
- Escorts off-shift employees to their cars.
- Performs minor maintenance repairs.
- Maintains safety log.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Work Experience:
Security experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid NJ driver's license required
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team
