PART-TIME SECURITY STAFF

Holton-Arms School invites applications for the position of part-time Security Staff . Founded in 1901, Holton-Arms is an independent college preparatory school for girls with over 600 students in grades 3 through 12, located on a 57-acre campus in Bethesda, MD, a suburb of Washington. Holton is known for its commitment to academic excellence, and for its leadership in providing opportunities for young women in athletics and the fine and performing arts. We are a diverse community of students, faculty, and staff reflecting the population of the metropolitan Washington, DC area.
Qualifications:
We seek candidates who are dependable, flexible team players with excellent communication and situational awareness skills. The successful candidate will have a solid work history, previous experience in security with knowledge of electronic access and key control systems. Experience conducting investigations and report writing with Microsoft Word and Excel is also required.
Physical demands:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and patrol all areas interior and exterior of the school and campus in adverse weather conditions.
Work schedule:
Part-time schedule will vary between 4 to 25 hours per week to include nights and weekends. Specifically looking for early morning starts (4:30 am start). Includes mandatory semi-annual full day trainings and attendance at special events.
