In our time of Company growth, we are seeking a Senior Accountant.

Work Location: Bradenton, FL

• Responsible for the maintenance of the General Ledger
• Responsible for reconciling the Balance Sheet accounts
• Works closely with Finance Team during month-end closing procedures to post and update prepaid schedules, loan schedules, intercompany transactions, accruals and department analysis
• Maintains various schedules including Fixed Assets, Prepaids & Loan Schedules
• Assists in the preparation of the annual UDS financial report and other required Federal and Local Reports
• Works closely as a liaison with external financial auditors

What you need to bring to this role:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
• 2+ years' general accounting experience required
• Ability to analyze, apply cost accounting procedures and utilize statistical information
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, required, to include pivot tables & v-lookup.
• Great Plains, Management Report Writer Experience a plus.
• Detail oriented with an organized mind-set
• Must be flexible, resourceful, able to troubleshoot
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities
