Overview:
    The Administrative Assistant has varied responsibilities of staff management, admissions coordination, and is an Administrative Assistant to the Director and Associate Director.
Responsibilities:
  • Staff Management Supervision of secretarial staff
  • Maintenance of personnel information
  • Admissions Coordination
  • Serving as secretary of Admissions Committee
  • Coordinating initial student registration/orientation
  • Maintenance of applicant records
  • Statistical compilation/reporting Administrative Duties
  • Assists Program Director with general correspondence surveys, funding applications, scheduling appointments, self study reports, and the budget
  • Maintain records regarding Staff, Faculty, Academic Progress Curriculum, and Advisory Committees
  • Purchase and inventory of all office equipment/supplies
  • Purchase of all instructional and laboratory (medical) supplies
  • Coordination/scheduling of various PA Program Committee meetings
  • Assists Program Director in coordination and data collection for self study purposes
  • Compiling information for Self-study and Provisional Application
Qualifications:

Education/ Experience

  • Associates Degree recommended
  • 2 or more years experience with administrative work preferably in education required

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

  • Effectively manage and organize daily tasks independently and with a team while balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlines required
  • Knowledgeable with OneDrive, Dropbox, Office Suite, Outlook
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues in a team environment
  • Good interpersonal skills are required
  • Good communication skills (written and oral)
Travel
  • On campus and remote
