About the Role

At PREMIER Bankcard, our employees are at the heart of our story. PREMIER's MIS Analytics department is seeking an experienced Marketing analyst to join our team. In this senior level analyst role, the candidate will support growth of our digital acquisition channel. To help optimize digital Marketing campaigns, the candidate will provide analysis with detailed insights. Analysis topics include email Marketing campaigns, profitability reviews broken down by digital segment, organic traffic reporting, PREMIER branding efforts and consumer behavior trends. The insights the candidate provides will help guide strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis/visualization skills, ability to query data, and enjoys balancing strategic thinking with tactical execution. The ideal candidate can communicate effectively with project stakeholders to understand requirements, identify innovative solutions, and drive actionable recommendations.

This position requires the individual to be onsite.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to synthesize data to form a story, align information to contrast/compare to industry perspective and historical business trends.
• Query data, create data visualizations, and derive insights.
• Provide analysis strategies in support of marketing campaigns; analyze and relay results, successes/failures, and profitability to leadership.
• Ensure analytic assumptions are accurate and based upon sound financial and/or statistical principles.
• Ability to think creatively to find innovative solutions to complex analytical questions.
• Consult with business areas to determine analytical needs, business/customer requirements and reporting.
• Assesses and prioritize projects based on changing needs of the business.
• Basic statistical modeling and analysis of data using advanced software.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in an analytical role (experience can include but not limited to data analysis, forecasting, and reporting).
• A degree in Business, Math/Statistics, Analytics, Data Science, Actuarial Science.
• Required competencies include PC skills, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and coding with SQL or SAS.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to independently write queries, understand data table relationships and structures, and develop accurate conclusions.
• Attention to detail, organized, ability to multi-task, problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Engage in independent self-direction; must be able to fulfill the responsibilities of the position with little supervision; assesses priorities and changing needs and directs oneself accordingly.
• Familiarity with statistical modeling using SAS Viya or an equivalent tool is preferred, but not required.

• Ability to quickly establish credibility to build and maintain effective working relationships.
