Senior Audit Associate (Public) Job at Vale Group
Vale Group has partnered with a top national public accounting firm to search for an experienced Senior Audit Associate to work either in a hybrid or remote setting based on location. Requirements of the Senior Audit Associate:
- 3-5 years of experience in public accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Active CPA license is preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with audit software such as Audit Command Language (ACL) or similar is a plus
Responsibilities of the Senior Audit Associate:
- Lead audit engagements from planning to completion
- Perform risk assessments, audit testing, and financial statement analysis
- Supervise and develop junior team members
- Manage client relationships and communication
- Continuously assess and evaluate audit procedures for effectiveness and efficiency
- Maintain current knowledge of industry and regulatory changes
