Client Partner / Account Manager - BFSI

  • Location: Dallas, TX/ Atlanta, GA/ Jersey city, NJ (Candidate should be from any of the mentioned states)

Job Purpose / Roles & Responsibilities:

Working as a Client Partner, the role will pursue and scale business with an existing large customer in the BFSI industry – specifically Cards & Payments.

  • Manage and grow the existing multi-million $ business with existing customer and develop new opportunities in selective target accounts
  • Establish strong professional relationships and credibility with key executives in the existing and target accounts
  • Drive large multi-service line deal wins with existing customers.
  • Work along with presales, solutioning and delivery teams to deliver value to the customers and pursuits
  • Seeding deal-shaping concepts and independently leading proactive solutions for the clients
  • Collaborate with all relevant parties within the organization, especially the delivery managers
  • Establish a strong cooperation with the practices and give directions regarding technology development direction and facilitate customer workshops
  • Establish and execute account strategy with clear mapping to customer priorities and competitive landscape; support ideation and drive revenues from vertical-specific solutions
  • Establish and execute account governance based on client’s business units, geographical spread and Birlasoft’s service lines’ potential
  • Work with delivery managers to set delivery metrics/targets and drive customer excellence in accounts
  • Negotiating account management contracts and agreements to maximize profit
  • Build and nurture Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partner relationships

Qualified Candidates will have:

  • Ten years plus in IT services with a recent track record of selling / growing business (farming) in the BFSI vertical, winning new business & building relationships with focus on selling Digital, Cloud transformation, Testing, Intelligent Automation, Data Analytics & Big Data etc. services.
  • Demonstrated track record of being able to seed & win deals of $ 15 + mil TCV and build a growth velocity to achieve hyper growth target of $25M in the next 2 years.
  • Strong background in the BFSI space (especially cards, payments, banking, asset management domains) and overall a good handle on how this industry functions along with a good understanding of the key market participants etc.
  • Strong consultative skills and ability to quickly gain confidence or senior client executives.
  • Self-starter with good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • KRA’s will be order booking, profitability, realized revenue and customer satisfaction

Good to have:

  • In-depth knowledge of payments & cards space and the technologies prevalent in this space including disruptive actions being taken by Payment FinTech's
  • A network of connects among Tech companies in the region, which will allow early conversations will be an advantage
  • Past relationships with OEM majors such as Microsoft, AWS, Oracle, Salesforce amongst others and connects with their local AEs to help develop leads

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $160,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year

Experience level:

  • 11+ years

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay

Travel requirement:

  • Up to 25% travel
