Position Overview

The Senior Director of Operations and Infrastructure (SDOI) ensures our organization and Alliance community operate with excellence and efficiency, ultimately ensuring this community provides deep value to our member organizations, is a powerful force for systemic change, is responsive to the needs of our external members and the communities they support, and comprehensively supports internal staff. This approach to the work will be thoughtfully executed through a strong customer service and problem-solving orientation, which drives proactive measurement to continually improve outcomes. Reporting to the COO, this position is an exciting opportunity to quickly build the infrastructure that ensures the operational excellence necessary for our Alliance community and internal organization to achieve its values and impact at scale.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to build and scale internal frameworks, systems, and processes that allow internal staff to dedicate optimum time to supporting Alliance team leaders and their work, ensuring flawless execution through repeatable development cycles as APA meets or exceeds its organizational growth expectations over the next 24 months.

Responsibilities

The Senior Director of Operations and Infrastructure will be responsible for ensuring our Alliance community and organization has the (1) systems and infrastructure, (2) process and protocol, and (3) implementation and execution necessary to ensure our community operates efficiently and effectively. A well-run Alliance community is essential to ensuring our member organizations get the most out of their Alliance experience, that our programming translates into real organizational improvement, that our systemic change coalitions achieve their intended outcomes, and that we have the data and insights to ensure our community gets better over time, responsibilities for this role will include:

Location, Compensation, & Benefits

• APA’s team is searching for the best talent regardless of location, as such please note that APA’s team is largely remote and location is flexible within the United States.
• Salary and benefits will be competitive and commensurate with experience with a range of $110,000-$135,000.
