Sr. Distribution Operations Specialist : Is the point of communication between Acushnet and Third-Party Logistic service providers. Support the distribution operation in multiple areas inc Export, National Accounts and Administration functions. Be a subject matter expert in relation to testing and reviewing systemic processes and their accuracy within a distribution environment, in both M3 and WM.

  • Communicate on a timely basis with Third-Party Logistics companies to ensure that they are meeting agreed service levels, if resolution cannot be agreed on, escalate concerns and offer solutions. Act as the liaison between Acushnet internal customers and the Third-Party Logistics provider through email correspondence.
  • Work with customer service and 3PL on tracking and analyzing chargebacks for National Accounts through reporting. Communicating with both groups on weekly shipment details related to PO’s, ASN’s, shipping dates, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor, track, report out on and analyze the performance of the Third-Party Logistics provider and identify areas of improvement. Through continuous improvement and business reviews deliver on the solution.
  • Support Fairhaven operation from a routing and documentation perspective for Export orders by using the customer's portal in accordance with routing guides to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Perform distribution administration tasks that would include, but not be limited to: creating scheduled operational reports which will include end of month documentation for Finance and other functions to support the distribution leadership team. Utilize reporting to research and share aging orders with 3PL. Research orders from customer service and invoice as needed. Review Physical Inventory Discrepancy Report and make the appropriate adjustments to sync inventory between M3 and GWMS systems.
  • Perform admin support services such as PO generation, report generation and document controls. Perform systemic tests to make sure both our ERP, WMS and Third-Party Logistics WMS are performing as expected.
  • Review the Returns Error log and process any returns that failed to post to ERP. Update the Weekly Error Log to Box provided by CSR for 3PL to review. Track the Web methods errors and share with 3PL

Education : HS Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience : Minimum of 5 years work experience in a distribution center environment with a minimum of two years testing and troubleshooting system configurations. Experience in a system development/implementation environment is required. Understanding of documentation for Export preferred. Understanding of National Account routing preferred. Understanding of distribution center operational functions required. Proven leadership skills, demonstrated dependability, and strong work ethic. Proven organizational skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills required. Experience with web-based applications and Microsoft Office tools. Works well with various internal and external departments.

Physical Requirements/Environmental Factors : Office admin and on-the-floor research, testing, and training of current functions at distribution centers will be required.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills : Experience working and testing within an ERP and WMS system required.
