Summary:

The Senior HR Business Partner will be responsible for day-to-day HR activities within the US Business Unit. The position will collaborate closely with the respective client group’s senior leaders to assess, create, and execute solutions that are aligned with Hollister’s human resources strategy and support the client group in achieving their strategic goals. As a trusted business partner and relationship builder, support and promote a positive culture. Hollister Incorporated operates in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a trusted advisor to business managers, providing guidance in all aspects of HR
  • Support the execution of the HR strategy and ensure the delivery of core HR services across respective client groups (e.g., recruitment, development/succession planning, performance management, annual merit process and compensation reviews etc.)
  • Effectively communicate policies, procedures and standards to new and existing Associates including leading training
  • Collaborate closely with the Centers of Expertise - Talent & Organizational Effectiveness and Global Total Rewards on special projects as well as with other support functions such as Legal on employee relations matters
  • Act as key partner to the business for key HR matters or issues that arise within respective client group as well as with other support functions such as Legal on employee relations matters
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Associates and leaders, providing HR partnership on all matters
  • Conduct new hire onboarding and partner closely with Talent Acquisition team on open positions
  • Conduct training on a variety of initiatives (e.g., Our Culture, performance management etc.)
  • Support Hollister’s Inclusion & Diversity initiatives
  • Effectively utilize HR system and coach leaders on the use of the HR system. Regularly audit data for accuracy.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years relevant HR experience
  • 3-5 years employee relations experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources or Business-related degree
  • Self-motivated and customer focused mindset
  • Strong communication skills and ability to successfully influence without authority
  • Can work simultaneously on multiple projects and thrives in a fast-moving environment where things are always changing
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and empathize with others and anticipate, respond, and pivot to the needs of the Associates and the business
  • Less than 10% local travel
