Senior Land Surveyor/Department Manager Job at The WLB Group, Inc.
The WLB Group, an Arizona based multi-discipline firm, has an immediate opening for a survey manager to provide professional and technical support to the field surveying, planning, and engineering departments. The principal duties and responsibilities are to prepare land surveys, legal descriptions, compute subdivision plats and control data for large and small projects. Work requires consistent exercise of initiative and independent judgment in performing work assignments. The position will require a good work ethic and the ability to work and communicate well with other office staff and clients. Candidate will be responsible for the preparation of proposals and project budgets and managing invoicing for the projects.Available position requires both field and office work. The ideal candidate will possess an RLS with a minimum of 8 years of experience. Job description also includes the ability to perform or oversee survey crew in construction staking for commercial, institutional and residential projects. Specific tasks include plan review, stakeout for grading, utilities, curb, concrete structures, roadway layout and bluetop for pavement grading, building and grid line layout, and as-built surveys.
