Purpose of Role: The position of Senior Manager of Inclusion, Diversity & Equity reports to the VP of Human Resources. As a leader of ID&E you will be a key driver in providing cultural education opportunities which promote and support activities and events to celebrate diversity and develop an awareness of inclusion throughout the company. Our goal is to foster an inclusive environment where everyone can bring their true self to work. You will play an integral role in promoting diversity throughout the organization and ensure that Weir ESCO develops and implements strategies and programs designed to support the retention and success of under-represented groups.

Key Areas of Focus:
  • Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a thought leader, trusted advisor, and subject matter expert on Inclusion, Diversity and Equity topics.
  • Employee Resource Groups: This support includes identifying best practices, recommending structure, organizing global meetings for chairs and co-chairs, supporting Resource Group aligned programs, creating opportunities for collaboration between Resource Groups, implementing best practices, and providing guidance to the chairs and Resource Group members.
  • Inclusion Culture: Work directly with HR Business Partners, HR Leaders and Business Managers to build and support inclusion initiatives that align with the teams' global roadmap, including the development of sustainable systems and behaviors that enable all employees to have a great experience at Weir ESCO.
  • Engagement: Partner with Communications and Talent teams to embed diversity and inclusion into talent, learning, recruitment, engagement and service opportunities.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience leading community engagement/relations, Employee Resource Groups, ID&E initiatives for a large corporation.
  • Experienced in program & project management including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables concurrently.
  • Ability to analyze and leverage data and technology to effectively identify, utilize and present information in a way that facilitates evidence-based decision-making.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and creatively around Diversity and Inclusion's application to HR, business units, and organizational business priorities
  • Must be permanently eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
