Senior Oracle Database Administrator Job at V2Soft Pvt Ltd
- 5+ years' hands-on experience in Information Technology
- 3-5 years as enterprise database administrator SKILLS
- Understanding of Oracle database systems, including advanced features (Real Application Clusters, Partitioning, etc)
- Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with Oracle data replication, including Oracle Golden Gate and Oracle Data Guard
- Solid knowledge of database backup, restore, and recovery including Oracle Recovery Manager
- Solid knowledge of Linux, and Windows Operating systems
- Foundational experience with server virtualization technology (VMWare)
- Experience with cloud databases a plus (Amazon RDS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB Atlas)
- Understanding and use of version control system (git)
- Track record of diagnosing technical issues and identifying performance bottlenecks, and resolving them
- Collaborate with application development in designing, implementing and deployment of solutions and products
- Troubleshoot issues and perform database deployment duties
- Experience in highly-available database systems and disaster recovery (DR) sites for databases
- Establish implementation plans for upcoming projects to make sure they are aligned with architecture guidelines and security standards Experience installing, configuring, securing, patching Oracle database products
