About the Role:

This is a very fast paced packing position on a line that will be producing between 8,000 and 12,000 units per shift. If output levels are not reached and/or maintained, pay rate will revert to previous levels.

Main Responsibilities:

• Must be able to cup pack between 30 and 40 pieces per minute for extended periods.
• Must be willing to work as a team and rotate through different positions.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Required to perform all duties in accordance with company SOPPs, SSOPs, GMPs, and guidelines listed in the company handbook.
• Required to set up the line for production; including retrieving items from the BOM
• Responsible for line sanitation and ensuring proper clean up at the end of the shift
• Responsible for ensuring proper quality standards are maintained. Line Associates must ensure that all labels are appropriate, that all candies meet our high standards for color, size, shape, weight, gloss and decoration, that all packaged items contain the correct materials from the BOM, and that cases are filled properly.
• Responsible for achieving and assisting in recording production numbers. Line associates must be aware of the standard line speeds and staffing and attain those goals.
• Participate in on-going training to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Responsible to uphold and maintain the food safety and quality systems.

Who we are looking for:

Education or Experience

• Understanding of basic arithmetic, reading level to understand instructions, policies, and procedures.

Physical

• Must be able to cup pack between 30 and 40 pieces per minute for extended periods.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing for extended periods, frequently repeated manual tasks.
