Job Duties & Responsibilities

Directs all areas of the Guide Bar department, typically through subordinate managers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing and participating in the development of performance, efficiency, and product quality standards for Guide Bar department and then monitoring performance against set goals.
• Monitoring output, cycle times, routings, quality indicators and operational as well as capital budgets for departments. Participating in resolution of problems and reinforcement of positive findings as necessary.
• Overseeing the development of production plans and strategies with all related departments (e.g., Production Planning and Control, Marketing, Materials, etc.)
• Manage and develop department supervisors and employees in all applicable departments and provides guidance regarding the coordination of department standards within overall company objectives.
• Manages all staff even if indirectly through subordinate managers.
• Other duties as required and assigned.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.

Specifications:

• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience, including 3+ in team/department management.
