As a Senior Project Manager and Divisional Leader for one of the area's leading General Contractors, your construction expertise covers retail, educational, religious, government, and commercial properties. You are a highly self-motivated and results driven individual with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities to meet deadlines. You have experience in heavy renovations, ground up, and adaptive reuse projects. Drawing off that experience, you are continuously relied on to provide strategic direction and solutions for our GC division at Mid Atlantic Contracting.

Responsibilities For A Successful Senior Project Manager at Mid Atlantic Contracting:

• Responsible for leading and managing projects from inception to completion with full, in-depth knowledge of all project aspects including design, construction, schedule, and budgeting
• Play a pivotal role in orchestrating and leading commercial projects , which includes planning, organizing, and staffing the project; facilitating the work; monitoring progress of the work; and concluding the project to meet our customer's deadlines
• Develop and manage projects of all types of size, cost, and complexity
• Work with customers to define and optimize scope of proposed projects within budget constraints. Coordinate the preparation of conceptual plans required for project approval, including preparation of timelines and budgets for construction projects
• Manage multiple projects individually and as a team, all simultaneously
• Interface directly with executive management, coworkers, employees, vendors, and Sub Contractors and others to clearly define project requirements and expectations
• Enhance Mid Atlantic Contracting's reputation by accepting ownership, exploring new possibilities, and adding value to the organization
• Ensure safety protocols to ensure job site consistently meets or exceeds OSHA safety stands
• Maintain a strong understanding of business strategies, goals, and missions
• Help champion our organizational Core Values and company culture across the division

Requirements For A Successful Senior Project Manager at Mid Atlantic Contracting:

• An in-depth knowledge of design and construction procedure principles
• Practical, real-life construction Project Manager or Senior Project Manager experience in the commercial construction industry (10+ years preferred)
• Previous practical experience in the role of a construction Estimator, specifically with Design-Build projects (5+ years preferred)
• Hands-on experience managing multiple projects in the project size range of $20K to $10M
• The ability to successfully execute both existing and new work while developing new projects and relationships
• High Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects understanding
• Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
• The ability to build and sustain effective communications with other roles involved in the projects
• Experience effectively using construction/PM software for job management and schedules
• Strong human relations skills
• Self-Initiative and resourcefulness with strong organizational ability to manage a diverse range of projects and people
