Senior Recruiter
As the Sr. Recruiter for Grand Circle, you will be responsible for recruiting and hiring top talent for open Finance/Accounting and Administrative positions at our global headquarters, located in Boston, MA. In this role, you will seek out candidates who fit both our business requirements as well as our core values, leveraging your skills, enthusiasm and experience to deliver and maintain an efficient, thorough and professional hiring process. Maintaining relationships with external contacts as well as internal team members and associates will be essential to your success. Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, you will work closely with other members of the People & Culture (HR) team to support hiring managers and recruitment for open positions within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Using a consultative and collaborate approach, you will work with hiring managers and candidates to fill assigned roles. This includes coaching managers to better understand the local job market and how they can work within those parameters to attract and hire the best talent available.
- As a full cycle recruiter, you will be responsible for covering all aspects of the hiring process, including: advising hiring managers on the requisition approval process and meeting with them to do the initial recruiting kick-off ; preparing and posting job descriptions; reviewing and sourcing new candidates; scheduling interviews; negotiating offers; preparing offer letters; administering background checks and pre-employment drug screenings; completing the new-hire onboarding process; also providing prompt notification to all candidates at the end of the interview process.
- Develop and propose creative sourcing solutions. Source candidates internally through internal postings, referral bonus program and relationships with existing Associates. Source external candidates through Internet, social media, community agencies, college/universities, local job fairs, advertisements, and cold calls.
- Plan and attend networking events (e.g., job fairs and visits to local colleges and universities) for relationship building, sourcing and promotion of our open job opportunities.
- Participate in weekly reporting on hiring status for all open positions.
- Assist with other administrative tasks/filing requirements as needed (e.g., completing/filing/posting any necessary documentation required for immigration purposes)
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of full cycle recruitment experience preferred.
- Proven success as a Recruiter, using creative and traditional sourcing methods.
** Must be able to work from our office located in Boston, MA at least 3 days a week
- Previous experience recruiting across a business.
- Prior experience tracking recruitment using an ATS
- Essential computing skills also include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing own work.
- Consultative and collaborate approach with candidates and hiring managers.
- Willingness to handle administrative tasks.
- Human Resources Certificate, PHR, or related training or coursework would be a plus.
