GeneID is a rapidly expanding national Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Genetic Testing Laboratory located in Montvale, NJ (border of NY and NJ in Bergen County). We specialize in Cancer Risk Predictive Testing as well as other Diseases. Our mission is to Prevent disease utilizing the the data generated from the latest genetic technology.

Our firm is seeking a talented and creative software engineer who is able to work independently and is excited to join our growing team. The Senior Software Architect will be responsible for designing and developing production-ready, healthcare related functional applications, and will be expected to present their detailed development plans to the executive staff. The successful candidate for this position will be expected to have a background in all facets of software engineering, including design, development and testing, and will be responsible for working closely with the Sales and Strategy teams to create innovative new graphics that effectively communicate our firm's brand.

Responsibilities:

• Be highly skilled in object-oriented design, relational database design, and distributed computing.
• Know how to build effective teams and how to manage them in a way that facilitates the achievement of complex goals.
• Have deep experience in designing, implementing, and testing large scale, high performance software.
• Be very proficient in a number of modern programming languages.
• Be very knowledgeable in data modeling, development process, software requirements and management methodologies.
• Understand the principles of security.
• Have good knowledge of modern software engineering practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
