Hendrick Motorsports, a leading NASCAR operation, is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Solutions Architect. Under the direction of the Operations Manager of Information Technology, the successful individual will provide engineering and architectural oversight and support to IT implementations and operations. The individual in this role is responsible for designing, maintaining, and supporting existing and future applications, as well as IT infrastructure in the areas of systems, network, storage, security, and virtual technology.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Using Aruba ClearPass to provide on-going support and oversight to network security
  • Configure, administer, and maintain network infrastructure including Aruba Airwave Management Platform and Mobility Controllers
  • Coordinate and integrate applications, infrastructure, data, and processes to support implementations
  • Develop and maintain processes and services designed to maintain ongoing alignment with organization needs and IT strategy
  • Responsible for Microsoft System configuration and administration
  • Track IT systems including but not limited to network (wired and wireless), firewall, and VM infrastructure
  • Perform application integration, maintenance, upgrades and migration as needed
  • Management and tuning of ZScaler zero trust and SilverPeak SD WAN technologies
  • Configure, administer, and maintain virtual desktop and server infrastructure
  • Oversee ancillary network/domain services
  • Provide support to the help desk as needed

Requirements:

· High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

· Associate or Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering: Preferred

· 2 plus years of experience

· Knowledge of system design, development, implementation, and user support principles and practices.

· Knowledge of database management principles and practices.

· Hardware and software system design and implementation principles and practices.

· Information system troubleshooting methods.

· Demonstrated enterprise architecture planning and design skills.

· Prior experience with IT security.

· Previous project management experience in complex IT projects.

· Ability to exercise initiative and resourcefulness.

· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

· Knowledge of professional office practices.

· Knowledge of operating general office equipment.

· Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion.

· Ability to work with limited supervision.

· Ability to understand and carry out moderately complex oral and written instructions, prioritize work and meet time restraints.
