Sourcing Specialist Procurement: This person will be responsible for data collection, interpretation and analysis, base lining for contract negotiation and cost savings tracking. The Sourcing Specialist PROCUREMENT will utilize a variety of Tenet financial data sources including but not limited to supply purchase order, non-supply spend data, Hyperion reports, General Ledger, eCats and Tenet custom reports in support of the analytical process. The Sourcing Specialist will use this data to build spend analysis in Excel, base lining and other duties as assigned. The Sourcing Specialist may be responsible for tracking ongoing initiatives, coming up with new opportunities, or gathering data so that others may identify opportunity. The candidate is expected to take a significant role in the PROCUREMENT service analysis, sourcing and savings tracking process.

Specific Job Duties include:

• Analyzing vendor contracts to verify service compliance. Working with datasets in Excel to identify sourcing opportunities for indirect spend categories

• Assisting with tracking, auditing, and reporting of savings for PROCUREMENT

• Assisting with data collection, quantification, and reporting for large scale PROCUREMENT initiatives.

• Support other work streams needed to advance Tenet initiatives.

• Work with business teams and finance to pull data from Tenet data sources to build baseline analysis for PROCUREMENT initiatives.

• Work with business teams to validate spend and baselines for PROCUREMENT initiatives

Required: BA/BS required

Required: One to Two years of experience in either consulting or Accounting/Finance with a focus on data management and analysis or similar robust analytical experience.

Supply chain and purchased service experience would be a plus. Prefer working knowledge of financial, accounting and operations. Advanced Excel skills are a must, as well as general working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also a must. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated ability to synthesize data and convert interviews and observations into actionable recommendations.

Excellent interpersonal skills; a dedicated listener, comfortable in a variety of settings dealing with diverse constituencies; a broad thinker. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.

The analyst will need to be firm but maintain a professional persona with outside vendors and business leaders. Ability to work well under pressure successfully prioritizing projects and effectively managing time and tasks, achieving optimum results. Contracting experience is not required, but it would be preferred
