Duties and Responsibilities
Senior Technical Project Manager (PM) responsible for providing leadership and management oversight for operating, maintaining (O&M) and further developing (enhancing) a government system. Accountable for the entire project lifecycle, including roadmap planning, release planning, and management. Responsible for establishing and enforcing effective and efficient project management support and IT system development, integration, testing, and support best practices, methods, and tools in compliance with the government agency IT policies, protocols, and Agile SDLC standards. Also leads, manages, and supports the following project management tasks:
- Provides daily project leadership and guidance to the contractor team in accordance with Agile Scrum SDLC guidance.
- Participates in Integrated Project Team (IPT) meetings, including additional scheduled government agency stakeholder meetings with the contractor team.
- Develops and maintains detailed project management plan (PMP), including risk management plan.
- Develops and maintains detailed project schedule.
- Plans, schedules, and hosts weekly and monthly project status meetings with the IPT, government agency stakeholders, and contractor project team(s).
- Provides updates to the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), as required.
- Provides support, as needed, for information security solutions and Assessment & Authorization (A&As), including coordinating remediation of vulnerabilities, updating security documentation, and participating in continuity of operation exercises

Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or business-related discipline
Preferred Education:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Systems Engineering, IT Management, or related field
Required Professional Certifications:
PMP or CSM or PMI-ACP
Required Experience:
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing software design and development projects.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of communication experience (i.e., planning, coordinating, and facilitating meetings; preparing and delivering training; preparing and editing presentations; and preparing project management and technical documentation).
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience managing IT system Operations & Maintenance (O&M).
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing the resolution of technical issues involving applications that use Amazon S3 and other AWS services.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing the resolution of technical issues involving Angular and AngularJS-based applications.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing the resolution of technical issues involving Spring Boot and Java-based applications.
