Senior Teller Job at First Hawaiian Bank
First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking an engaging and customer focused Senior Teller to join our Oleai branch location. In this role, you will provide a stellar customer experience while processing customer transactions,supporting bank goals by promoting and referring bank products and services, as well as performing backup assistance to head teller and/or other branch staff.
Work Schedule
Monday - Thursday 8:00AM - 4:30PM; Friday 8:00AM - 6:30PM; Saturday on a rotation basis 8:30AM - 1:30PM (hours may vary)
The ideal candidate will have:
- One year of experience as a Teller and cross-trained to peform supervisory duties; or one year of experience as a Teller (or equivalent) in another financial instituion with prior supervisory experience
- Must be pleasant and tactful when interacting with customers
- Good oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to use judgement and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information
- Able to handle confidential matters judiciously
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations and balance cash with the assistance of a calculator
- Possess sales skills to enhance business development opportunities
- Ability to work indepednently with minimal supervision
- Familiar with standard concepts, procedures and practices in branch operations
