Server and Bartender Job at Maki Sushi Bar & Grill
Our team is looking to hire two part time high energy bartenders and/or servers for our high volume and fast paced restaurant. Desire to learn about Japanese cuisine/sushi is a bonus. Server applicants are also encouraged to have a willingness to learn bartending. We are a close knit team so being a team player with the ability to work well with others is necessary.
Open availability is preferred. Applicant must be able to take shifts on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sundays of three day weekends. Hours are 4pm-10:30pm.
Job responsibilities include:
- Seating tables
- Answering the phone
- Taking orders, entering orders into point of sale, taking payment for orders
- Making drinks
- Bringing food and drink to tables
- Clearing dirty plates from tables
- Completing check out at the end of every night
- Completing opening and closing checklists every day
- Following the direction of management
