Al-Posto is an upcoming restaurant located in Hyde Park Square. The cuisine, headed by Chef Evan Hartman will focus on Central and Southern Italian cuisine. The focus is to be casual enough to remain a neighborhood destination but upscale enough to warrant celebrating special occasions. The beverage program is led by Advanced Sommelier Austin Heidt and will focus on fresh craft cocktails, a mix of local and imported beers, as well as a wine program that focuses on both Italian and new wave American wines.

Hiring for all positions, including host, server, and bartender. As a new restaurant, there will be opportunity for quick advancement professionally.

Hosts are responsible for setting the tone of the experience for our guests. Ability to answer phones, relay messages, organize a seating chart, and keeping an eye on overall guest experience while maintaining a friendly and welcoming demeanor is paramount.

Servers are responsible for guiding the majority of our guest's time at Al-Posto. Often we will have additions to our menu, whether that be beverage or food. Letting clientele know what's new and exciting is an important part of what is expected. Learning cocktails, beers, wines, as well as the food is also a requirement. We will suggest to people they give us their entire order and it will be the server's job to help pace the meal for them.

Bartenders will have the ability to work behind a full service bar. Maintaining a vibrant neighborhood restaurant feel is meaningful for our concept. We want people to want to dine at the bar, and make a point to try and get a spot. Friendliness and wanting to talk to our guests about anything beverage related is important. Whether is a particular spirit, a style of beer or wine, we want our bar team to have the license to both help develop a cocktail program as well as excite our guests.

2 years of experience working in an upscale dining establishment is desired, but not necessary to be considered for employment. We will absolutely train the right candidates, we are looking for people who enjoy working within a team and are excited to be part of a new concept.
