We are seeking experienced event and restaurant servers as we expand our team heading into the warmer months ahead.

O+O Events was founded in 2020 as the events and private dining arm of the O+O Hospitality Group. We have multiple private rooms for small occasions in addition to The Hall at Olive + Oak, an open airy space which can service events with up to 300 guests. From corporate lunches to full-service weddings with live performers, we’re able to service a diversity of clients while providing each with a unique menu catered to their needs. Inspired by our flagship restaurant, Olive + Oak, the O+O Events kitchen prepares menus that change seasonally and feature the best of local and imported ingredients we can find.

We are ideally seeking servers with a strong hospitality background and an above-average knowledge of food, spirits, wine, and beer. That said, we're also willing to provide training to those who may not have the experience, but who have a love for people and the desire to learn!

We are ideally seeking servers with nighttime and weekend availability, however we also service daytime events. This is primarily a part-time position however it can be made full-time in combination with a front-of-house role elsewhere in our restaurant group. We have many employees who work at more than one establishment of ours. Servers at O+O Events are scheduled event shifts within their stated availability, as opposed to being a "sign up" for events.

Pay for this position will either be based on a client tip or service charge. Service charge events will be paid out at either $18.00 per hour for luncheons, or $25.00 per hour for nighttime events. Tips are either entirely kept by the server if only one is working, or are shared between servers based on hours worked.

Full-time employees in the O+O Hospitality Group qualify for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance after 60 days of employment. Full-time employees also qualify for paid maternity/paternity leave after 1 year of service. Preferred Experience:

  • At least one year of private event, restaurant, or hospitality experience


Work Environment:

  • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of event venues, including food and beverage areas. Requires mobility, prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and reaching. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Must be able to tolerate varying levels of stress, temperature, illumination, air quality, and fatigue. Heavy customer contact required. Nighttime and weekend availability is heavily preferred.
